Lord’s Prayer 5

I wonder how Jesus would respond to shopping at a Super Target, WalMart, Sam’s Club, or Costco. We live and desire for stuff in a land of abundance. Yet not everyone is fortunate. Food insecurity and poverty are in nearly every community. The Hebrews learned to change their diet after leaving Egypt and, Ben g dependent on God’s daily provision. Hoarding for tomorrow didn’t work and their weee few other meal plans. The main thing that hit me was being grateful. The Hebrews had a bad negativity habit, failing to be grateful in their entitlement mindset, grumbling in their daily journey. May we develop an iron clad gratitude routine,

“God will either give us what we ask or give us what we would have asked if we knew everything he knows.”

“Our time frames are not in touch with ultimate reality. Our perspective on timing compared with God’s is analogous to a two-year-old’s with an adult’s. God has good reasons for making us wait a long time to see some prayers answered.” - Tim Keller, Prayer
