It is so easy to be influenced by the division and strife in our world. Thinking that we do not deserve what we get leads to an entitlement mindset. But it seems like the person if constant peace and hope has the qualities of the entrepreneur, striking out on their own with the presence of our Triune God. Going against the grain of culture or those around us takes courage and willingness to be different. Instead of listening to the crowd, we sharpen our listening skills to our Savior. Like Amos, we follow the calm to be defiantly at peace and full of His presence.
