Americans seem to bristle at the word obedience. Obeying annuity goes against our nature because we like to think of ourselves as having freedom and rights. But John has. We are not in absolute authority over our lives. But as we surrender go Him, we become part of His story. Instead of blending in to the average American story, we discover His love and what He is doing to change the world. We obey Him because Hd loves us.
