We do not think of ourselves as ambassadors for out King Jesus and His kingdom. Acting as diplomats, re-assuring others of His kindness, yet His gentle rule is our job. One day our King will set the world straight, restoring what He intended from the beginning. Our King is patient and knows us well. The more we know Him, the better representatives we are for Him. As Isaiah emphasizes, His holiness is the key character quality of our King.
