If we could physically see the battle between good and evil happening around us, we might hope in fear. But God allows us to experience His presence regardless of the circumstances. Fortunately, we live a comfortable life in this country and have not had to face great persecution or war within our boundaries. The urgency to pray for peace and god wisdom among leaders is great. We can be the person standing in the gap, praying for a change. Isaiah had the privilege of seeing the world from a different angle, writing down what he experienced so that we will have a hope that transcends what we physically see.
