It’s far easier to write paragraph about how I should handle tests and trials than to actually live through each one with integrity. Living it is far deeper than talking about it. We have been able to live a cushioned, privileged life in our culture. Privilege is defined differently in this devotional, all for God’s junket and glory. My usual definition of privilege is for my own selfish protection or promotion. I have a lot to learn.

Whether this is a literal crown or the gift of eternal life itself, the crown holds value because of the One who gives it. He is gracious and generous.
