Who have been some of your personal heroes who have helped you mature? Thinking back, I’ve been fortunate to watch several men live by high standards. Two examples were role models in parenting. I was a college student and was invited into their homes. The quality of interaction was something far different than I had seen. These two men also modeled a deep theology of talking all things out with our Father in prayer. One man in particular, had taken great risk by teaching in another country that was hostile to a Christian witness. There have been others, but I’m grateful for these two who sparked something in me. Each took the time to interact with me, deepening my faith.
