Conversation

Conversation Is Not a Distraction from Discipleship.

It Is Discipleship.

Conversation trains us in patience.

It demands curiosity.

It softens our certainties.

It re-humanizes our communities.

The Church was never meant to be a lecture hall.

It was meant to be a table.

And at the table, everyone has a voice.

So Where Do We Begin?

We begin with humility.

We begin by naming our discomfort with silence and difference.

We begin by making space for questions, not just answers.

We begin by admitting that we don’t change by being told what to think, but by being invited into shared reflection.

We begin by listening, to the Spirit, to one another, to the pain underneath people’s words.

And when we do, we begin to remember who we are:

Not an audience.

A body.
