75 Strong

75 Hard Challenge - inspired by my grandson, Ty, 17, who has committed to this daily practice.  I’m attempting this as a modified ‘Rule of Life’

The challenge was created in 2019 by Andy Frisella, not to improve fitness but to increase grit and discipline, mental fitness over physical fitness. My goal is for this bow, this promise to be fluid and appropriate for what is happening in my life

Each day:

Read through the Bible in one year, one day at a time

Complete several YouVersion devotional studies each day - with a group of 6 or 7, a group of 3, one on one with three,

Each day - text a verse to at least one young man not in a study

Read the Joshua Project, Operation world app, pray for the unreached world YouVersion app

Journal my YouVersion reflections on substack

Journal my interactive prayers

Listen to Lectio 365 - each morning

Pray for each of Sandy, my 3 sons, their families, and each grandchild for their growth in maturity, protection from evil, and godly life giving relationships

 Complete a stretch workout every morning - 30 - 45 minutes

Treadmill  .5 to one miles plus

Read 10-15 pages each day of a book

Walk 2.5 miles each day outdoors

Global Media Outreach - finish training/ participate

Willard Group once a week encouragement

Eat 2 fruits per day

Drink half gallon of water each day

Read Randy Alcorn devo each day

Complete the ‘Theology and Mission’ workbook for the week

Use left side of brain - word puzzles

Resolutions

1. “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.”
