Turning Away From Jesus 3/18

Peter’s loyalty, intense desire to do the right thing, and his desire for justice were commendable  Jesus understood the situation and He understood Peter reaction  I want bd known as being loyal and committed, just like Peter, but I don’t want go make impulsive mistakes ghat hurt God’s glory. Fortunately we have the wisdom of Scripture and the Spirit’s presence to make the best decisions .

  1. “Jesus did not urge his disciples to commit their lives to a doctrine, but to a person who was the doctrine, and only as they continued in his Word could they know the truth ( John 8:31–32).” - Robert E. Coleman, The Master Plan of Evangelism
