Christmas 12/06

 The humility of God’s character to intervene in history as a child born to a humble young girl is good for much thought and devotion.  Mary’s humble, trusting, and obedient response is inspiring for us to live in a likewise manner.  The celebrity status of today’s powerful and proud is a stark contrast to Mary.  I’m reminded that I do need to compare myself to the those in the limelight, but rather to trust ghe humble but mighty leading of God’s hand.
