I’ve not thought of sticky glue as an illustration of my relationship with God. I’ve tried to tear away from the stickiness, but His grip on our lives is strong. He will NEVER leave us or forsake us, despite the rabbit trails we pursue or the attention deficit we often demonstrate. But the more we focus on how awesome our Father’s love is to us, how He knows us intimately, the more consistent thought patterns we will have.
