Nick 3/23

We want answers but God wants to love us.

We do not need to look for people to love. We are to love those who those He has put in front of us. When we are ready, He ailll bring others to us so that we share His love with them.

My wandering eyes are searching for live and acceptance and security. But the more I grasp how much my Father loves me, the less my eyes wander. I’m more focused on my identity as His child, less on my earthly status, security, or comparison.

The more I’m humbled by His love for me, the less I’m concerned about my platform and celebrity status. I’m a nobody telling everybody about the Somebody I know.

The more I grasp His love for me, I’m content with who God made me to be, but restless to love Him more.

I want to know why these things are happening to me. I want to more for Christ but He hasn’t shown me. But Jesussays, You are not ready to know all these things yet. Nor are others ready and the time isn’t right. I will show you more about love soon. Follow me that You may know my love. God is never too early and never too late. He is always on time. His answering as we wait is ‘soon’ as He notices our patience and earnest waiting on Him.

We all want to be discovered and important  we don’t want to be developed

The light that is on you should never be greater than the light that is in you

The redemptive “skinny,” eternal crux-of-the-matter, and bodacious bottom-line: “Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” (1Cor 13:13). We’ll never overdo, OD on, or outlive this Trinity-sourced trifecta.  Scotty Smith
