It’s a difficult teaching to absorb that God’s silence may be in our best interests. He wants us to trust Him as a mature follower, as a weaned child, not so insecure that we cannot make decisions without a push. But grasping this wisdom seems to require that we know our Father deeply and He knows us. He has given us specific talents and gives along with training and experience like few others. He provides His moral principles and the guiding Holy Spirit. He gives the freedom to make creative decisions as long as they are within His moral will. He provides experiences that open doors and shut doors, which lead to other opportunities. He didn’t lead us to this moment to leave us in the dark
