The mystery, the secret, the inner working of transforming our lives is His work in our hearts. Developing a rhythm of quietly talking all things out with our Father, applying the text of His word as we go through each day, searching for where He is working, asking Him to show us Himself during our activities, are each phrases I’ve thought of related to developing treasures that will never fade or disappear. None of these mysteries are for our own reputation or acquisition of power. They are not measures of comparing ourselves to anyone or anything, but are for the hope of His glory to be shown in our hearts with a calmness and joy that nothing else offers
