Being a part of the Kingdom is participating in it. We tend to think like an American consumer, saying to ourselves ‘what am I getting out of this?’ But Scripture is clear that God is active, working behind the scenes to make all things come to a conclusion. He is using everything that has happened and is happening to change us to live Himself more and more. But we work it out by praying, allowing the Spirit to show us where we need to change and where we can participate. If we think as a victim or as a consumer, we tend to think that we have no voice, no will power, or choice in life events. But our Father wants us to be active participants in His work around us and in us.
