Thinking that gaining more information about the Bible is the key to intimacy with our Father might help, but this pursuit can lead to pride and arrogance. For some reason, it’s easy to gloat my acquisition of info yet not be in awe of our Father. But if gaining more information is based on the respect and worship He deserves, intimacy increases. Wisdom is multiplied through fear and worship. Our Father is the focal point of all activity, not ourselves.
