Our earthly treasures could be most anything, but our bank account and calendar are clues to what those treasures are. Yet I wonder if some earth tethered treasures could be our image, sense of power and prestige, or even feeling in control of our lives. To the watching world, our efforts, expenditures and calendar may look selfless and community driven. Our Father is the only One who really knows what we are all about. He knows our motives and whether we are authentic Christ followers.
