Allowing my thoughts to wander will get me in trouble every time. Unchecked, my mind can follow a rabbit trail of thinking, leading me to discouragement or deeper sin. But God is always ready to get me back on the path when I stop the way I’ve been thinking. Staying with Christ is a deep calmness and peace, minimizing my anxiety of the world. It seems like a 24/7 battle, not a once and for all skirmish. I want to eliminate the devil’s foot holds I’m allowing into my life.
