Is it always wise to focus on what our guys are? I can see a slippery slope if we dwell on whatever gift we have because we could become self focused. Our goal is to love God with our whole selves, all in, no reservations. Another goal is to love others and the world can judge our authenticity by that love (John 13). I’m thinking that we are more effective by being in awe of Christ, and our gift will be an overflow with our our Vince treating upon it. I may be wrong, because this is counter to most of the teaching I’ve received in the last.
