Maturity is our goal. Who would want to be dependent on milk and baby food for an entire lifetime, whining and having temper tantrums when life isn’t perfect. But maturity is seeing the big picture of what God is doing and finding purpose for each day. Rising above the default of feeling victimized by events, circumstances or people is a challenge everyday. Just when I think I understand what God is doing, He interrupts my know it all view into something even bigger.
