Changing the way we respond to life events and circumstances is a process that requires an all out war on past habits and the way we think. Each person is unique with their given situations, but our mighty God knows our battle each day. Our gains are not won just by self effort, but by a surrender to His way of thinking. Learning how Jesus would live our lives takes an intentional change. Our meaning and purpose for each day is to live as if Jesus were in me, leaving behind my self preservation and defense. Even though many situations do require a defense of our integrity, we surrender the outcome to Him. He is working the details out to make His character and presence known.
