Psalm 23-7

 One verse that I thought of as I read today’s devotional is Proverbs 18:10

The name of the LORD is a strong tower;

        the righteous man runs into it and is safe.

Just like a banner or a flag waving over who we are, our refuge and safety is with the Lord God. He is mighty to rescue and save. Even though we can have high anxiety about the outcome of our efforts, even though we are in the storm, we are assured that He knows every detail and He will NEVER leave us or forsake us. He knows his sheep and their weaknesses. We can trust our Shepherd to lead us each day despite the enemies around us.
