Today’s reading causes me to think how lightly I take His mercy. To think of the day I will see Him face to face, that I could break down and weep for my lack of respect for His mercy, the pain and grief He went through, how I have squandered and cheapened my faith in Him! His love is overwhelming to consider. It’s so easy to be tempted to pursue lesser things, to think that life is all about me. But it’s not - it’s about honoring Him as King of my life. Let’s pray that we will grow in His mercy and grace.
