Without His intercession , our relationship with Christ would be filled with frustration and lots of self effort. His grace and mercy are always there despite our failings and weakness. I want to appreciate more and more what Christ does for us and in us each time we are tempted to be full of pride, feeling like we are better than other, and feeling entitled. The closer I am to Him, the less I look at myself and less tempted I am to wander down some worthless trail.
