Living a fantasy life by creating an alternate character of ourselves seems weird bu understandable. We could even portray ourselves as someone without defect through social media. But Jesus invites us into the reality of His kingdom and values. His presence brings a peace and hope that nothing else can, despite what is happening to is or around us. Jonah was given a second chance despite his reluctance and rebellion to small what God wanted. It’s amazing that He wanted to reach the brutal culture of Nineveh through a prophet that hates the residents of this city. His love is amazing.
