Wanting more if most anything is ingrained in each of us. Marketing and advertising strategies capitalize yet encourage our wants and desire for something better. Following Christ instills a different motivation for living each day. The more we appreciate His love for us, our yearning for the temporary fades inn the background. As we read and study the Scriptures, the words change is. Paul presented a lifestyle that was radical to his readers and listeners. Jeremiah states that This is that the Bible is powerful ‘“Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?”’ (23:29). Regardless of the boundaries of economics, race, or geography, the Bible’s words can change anyone, even me.
