The more I know God for who He is, the less I fear. God is far greater than I can ever imagine and loves me far more than I know. His love will carry me through whatever I fear. I’ve always worried about what people think, making mistakes, and about the outcomes to my efforts. But God’s presence and His love will sustain me. Because He loves me, I’m not as anxious about who God created me to be. I still have a default setting for fear, worry, and anxiety, but my faith is working it out, helping me to less self focused, even though we live in very anxious times.
