Rick Warren’s book, The Purpose Driven Life, begins with the statement, “Life is not about you!” He goes on to t discuss how each person has unique gifts and characteristics, all for a purpose of honoring God in unique ways. We do ourselves harm by comparing ourselves to these, despite how our culture is driven by comparison to keep up with the rich, powerful, and those who are in charge of great responsibilities. But the more we discover His love for us, how He designed us for His honor, the greater meaning and purpose we will have.
